A Canton Food Truck Worth the Stop
When you're craving authentic Mexican comfort food in Canton, Taco Riko delivers—literally and figuratively. Located at 50 Riverstone Parkway, this local food truck has become a go-to lunch spot (and dinner destination) for residents who appreciate fresh, flavorful tacos without the sit-down restaurant wait.
Open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (staying open until midnight on Friday and Saturday), Taco Riko keeps it simple: quality ingredients, generous portions, and a menu that goes beyond your typical taco truck fare.
What to Order at Taco Riko
The tacos are the star of the show here. Soft corn tortillas are loaded with your choice of meat—carne asada, pollo (chicken), chorizo, or al pastor—then topped with fresh onions and cilantro. Reviews consistently praise the freshness and flavor, with locals calling them perfect every time.
But don't sleep on the rest of the menu. The burritos are stuffed with rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, and your choice of protein, all wrapped in a 12-inch flour tortilla. If you're feeding a crowd, the Riko Special Plate is a standout: a whole chicken served with rice, beans, salad, ten tortillas, and both mango habanero and teriyaki sauces.
Taco Riko also serves pupusas—handmade Salvadoran corn tortillas stuffed with chicharrón, chicken and cheese, beans and cheese, or cheese only—plus quesadillas, tamales, and aguas frescas in hibiscus, sweet rice, or tamarind flavors. It's the kind of variety that keeps regulars coming back to try something new.
Fast, Casual, and Made Fresh
The vibe at Taco Riko is casual and welcoming. With drive-through service, curbside pickup, and dine-in options, it's built for busy schedules. Here's a video time and not to spoil anything, but I am obsessed. If you haven't tried Taco Riko on Riverstone, literally what are you waiting for? Here are my quick ratings of what we ate. The ground beef tacos were a nine out of 10. They were delicious, especially when you added the lime and the green sauce. The carne asada burrito was my favorite and a standout. The quesadilla got a seven and a half out of 10 for my friend who ordered it, and my husband gave the chorizo tacos a seven out of 10. Said that they were solid, but not his all-time favorite. Overall, I thought that Taco Riko was filling, flavorful, fast, and definitely worth trying if you want street tacos and authentic Mexican food in Canton.
