Grunge Unplugged with Strings Hits Canton Theatre Nov. 21

90s grunge meets acoustic strings at Historic Canton Theatre Nov. 21. Jeremy Would Let Me Drown reimagines Pearl Jam, Soundgarden & Alice in Chains. 8 PM.

When Grunge Goes Acoustic

If you grew up with Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains as your soundtrack, there's an unusual concert headed to downtown Canton that might just give those familiar songs a whole new life. On November 21st at 8 PM, the Historic Canton Theatre is hosting Grunge Unplugged with Strings—a show that pairs the raw edge of 90s grunge with the elegance of a live string trio.

The Atlanta-based tribute band Jeremy Would Let Me Drown will take the stage, reimagining grunge-era anthems with acoustic arrangements and string instruments. Think haunting ballads and stripped-down versions of songs you probably wore out on CD back in the day, now performed with violins, cellos, and acoustic guitars creating an intimate, almost unplugged atmosphere.

What to Expect

The evening blends the intensity and emotion of grunge with classical instrumentation—a combination that might sound unexpected but has proven to draw crowds eager for something different. From soaring string accompaniments to quieter acoustic moments, the show offers a fresh take on beloved hits while honoring the spirit of the originals.

The performance runs from 8 PM to 10 PM at the theatre's historic venue on East Main Street. Get tickets and pricing details directly from the Canton Theatre's official page.
